Joylene, Mother and I drove to Lawton yesterday (Presidents' Day) to visit the Meffords and pick up items they are donating to a good cause here in Denton. (They'll be moving to Ft. Polk, LA in a couple months so are getting rid of all the stuff they can.)
Amanda has three dogs and is trying to give one away since two is the maximum number of pets allowed in military quarters. Isabella (Bella) is the one she's decided to find a new home for and here's the e-mail she's sent out to all who may be interested . . . or who may know someone who's interested.
Hi, my name is Isabella and I am a 5 year old full blooded beagle. I am only about 15 pounds and love to sit in your lap. I am housebroken and have been spayed and am up to date on all my shots. My family is really torn up about having to find me a new home, but they are military and have to move and are only allowed 2 pets and I have two other sisters. I am the smallest and most loving so I am the one hoping to find a home with people that will love me as much as my current family does. Bella & the Meffords in Lawton

Bella sounds like a great pet. I hope she finds some good owners. Have the Meffords lived in LA before? How long of a drive is it for you compared to how far you have to go now?
