While mother visited, Joylene and I walked and geocached at the Mercer Arboretum not far from the Lauritzen's place. We left home around 9:00 am and got back at 11:00 pm, not much worse for the wear. It was a long day, but a very enjoyable and worthwhile trip.

Quick Trip to Spring, TX
On Friday we made a quick trip south for mother to visit her old friends, Bill and Eileen Lauritzen, who live in Spring, TX a suburb just north of Houston.
While mother visited, Joylene and I walked and geocached at the Mercer Arboretum not far from the Lauritzen's place. We left home around 9:00 am and got back at 11:00 pm, not much worse for the wear. It was a long day, but a very enjoyable and worthwhile trip.
